newyork city

Yellow cabs, rain-slicked streets, the Empire State Building framed perfectly at the end of the avenue — this painting captures New York in its element. Bold, energetic brushwork fills the canvas with the city's restless electricity: glowing windows, wet reflections, a sky torn between storm and light. Magnificent and indifferent, exactly as New York always is.
