nandi

A great golden Nandi — Shiva's sacred bull — sits adorned with traditional jewelry beside the holy river. Ancient temple columns rise behind him, and in the distance, the soft glow of ghats and shrines reflects on the water. Tiny figures in red walk the stone steps below, showing the quiet scale of devotion in everyday life. Painted in a pointillist style, the shimmering dots of teal, gold, and brown give the whole scene a dream-like, sacred glow. A deeply spiritual work rooted in Indian tradition.
